Event-based Surveillance reports
Event-based public health surveillance looks at reports, stories, rumors, and other information about health events that could be a serious risk to public health.
Weekly PHEM bulletin
These reports pertain to the routine surveillance of the public health emergency management system. They focus on 36 priority diseases, including 22 conditions that require immediate notification to the next level and 14 that are reported weekly. The data presented here is collected through the Ethiopian Public Health Emergency Surveillance System, covering all 14 regions and extending to the district level.
Outbreak Report
This is a report that documents and summarizes all the steps, main findings, and recommendations of the outbreak investigation.
Risk Communication
This communication aims to inform and educate people about the current health risks and the priority actions needed to address them. It promotes awareness, understanding, and informed decision-making related to public health concerns

The Public Health emergency management Insights-Ethiopia (PHEMIE) is a communication platform to provide health professionals and the public with authoritative, timely, and influential source of information and recommendations for actions to minimize public health threats
To bridge the gap in public health information sharing between policy-makers, researchers, health professionals, practitioners and the public.
The PHEMIE serves as EPHI’s primary communication channel for disseminating public health information. It is produced by analyzing data from weekly PHEM data which is collected nationwide. It also exhibits the seasonal trends of diseases, reports on outbreaks, global news, articles and risk communication for the community.
